Reading Students will be able to  engage in meaningful formal and informal writing tasks using all stages of the writing process, in class and at home  write in clear, understandable and accurate language  use language and style appropriate to the purpose and audience  organize and order words, sentences and paragraphs in an essay with an introduction, coherent body and a conclusion that summarizes the topic  proofread various areas such as sentence structure, grammar and punctuation  evaluate their own writing according to the established rubrics
