Clothing Needs

Chapter 9: Our Apparel · HOME SCIENCE

Clothing Needs As children grow, they like to identify with their peers and or adults whom they admire. One way of doing that is to dress like them. This is an emotional experience for them. Children’s clothes must be suitable for their different activities, and must give them freedom to play, something that is so essential for their physical growth.

The clothing needs of children, from infancy to adolescence, are discussed below in detail.
